Objectives of the Foundation

To help Polio patients, who have to move on hands and feet because of the consequences of the illness, to move in a normal way again.

We are trying to achieve this by:
... founding workshops where shoes and orthopaedic supports can be produced
....to provide them with the necessary machinery, tools and material
....to instruct local shoe- and support makers

Our Foundation put the patient and her/his future in the very centre. It is absolutely neutral as far as politics and belief are concerned

This example and other machinery are bought or are given for free in The Netherlands by our Foundation. Afterwards, they are shipped to The Republic of Congo together with other materials.

This is a clear picture of the sandals, which are called “sabots”, and of an orthesen. Both have been produced by the local population according to the directions from a revalidation doctor from the aid team.
